Nagyn is a patented medical device containing silver suitable for vaginal use. It is particularly suited to support the treatment of vaginal infections and postoperative problems. It is also used to help prevent vaginal inflammation of various origins.
How does Nagyn work?
Each Nagyn package contains 1 blister pack with 10 vaginal capsules. The vaginal capsules are made by rapidly dissolving in vegetable gelatin. Once implemented into the vagina the capsule dissolves and releases the individual active substances. The combination of active substances acts in the vagina to support the treatment of bacterial, fungal and viral infections. Moreover, this combination of active substances in the vagina creates a protective barrier that insulates and protects the damaged tissue from external irritants and this promotes the normal healing of the vaginal mucosa (e.g. during postnatal minor injuries, after medical procedures in the cervix, etc.).
What is Nagyn used for?
- Support for the treatment of bacterial, viral and fungal vaginal infections.
- Support for prevention of recurrent vaginal inflammation (different origins).
- Support for prevention of recurrent vaginal fungal infections, genital herpes and warts.
- Support for the treatment of postpartum trauma, after gynecological procedures (e.g. conization – surgery on the cervix).
Recommended use and dosage:
Take 1 vaginal capsule once daily for 7-10 days. It is the best to use at bedtime. Before use, wash your hands and genital area properly. Insert the capsule deep into the vagina. It is the best to use Nagyn as soon as first symptoms appear (itching, burning, discomfort, etc.).
